Add these to your due dates: 12th Graders need to also take the AR test on Death of a Salesman by April 29th. 11th graders must take the AR test on The Great Gatsby by April 29th.

Several of you have done the extra credit already and I'll give some clarity: "The Blue Room" is specifically in reference to Area 51. "2nd Light" is specific to a sport and town here in Florida. "ATIS" is a reference to Disneyland. That's all the clues you get.

Many of you have asked me to reiterate the terms you'll need to know for the AP test: Allegory, Allusion, Alliteration, Analogy, Aphorism, Conceit, Conundrum, Figurative Language, Hyperbole, Infinitive, Metaphor, Metonymy, Onomatopoeia, Oxymoron, Personification, Simile, Assonance, Apostrophe, Consonance, Diction, Foreshadowing, Paradox, Plot, Prose, Setting, Symbol, Syntax, Tone, Verse, Verisimilitude.
