Welcome, some of you (those who checked this out early). You should be finishing up your summer reading. Remember there will be a test and a paper due the first week of class. Seniors, you have a paper due on the title of Great Expectations, and you will have a brief knowledge check (test) the 1st Thursday of class. Juniors, your paper is on The Catcher in the Rye. Your test will be on The Martian Chronicles. Be prepared for great times ahead, and remember that this is challenging and doable (is that a word?), impossible only if you don't keep up. Anticipate good times, great grades and a completely different experience (A Splendid Time is Guaranteed for All). No, I don't want summer to end either, but I look forward to working with all of you.
