Just a few of the albums you should check out. I'll give extra credit if you listen to them all.

OK, you probably don't have time to listen to all of these. Here are some essentials. If you choose to critique one of these albums in an article similar to the one you wrote for the magazine project (you don't have to do the layout), I'll offer as many as 25 extra credit points. The article must be meticulous, meaning well-written, thoughtful, appropriate, insightful and creative (typed, double-spaced). Choose one of these:

Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd
Abbey Road by The Beatles
Hotel California by The Eagles
Odelay by Beck
Your Favorite Weapon by Brand New
Cassadaga by Bright Eyes
A Mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar by Dashboard Confessional
Transatlanticism by Death Cab For Cutie
The Doors by The Doors
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road by Elton John
This Year's Model by Elvis Costello
American Beauty by The Grateful Dead
Dookie by Green Day
Sam's Town by The Killers
A Night at the Opera by Queen
Zeitgeist by Smashing Pumpkins
Pinkerton by Weezer
Aja by Steely Dan

You may also choose an album of your own. Some of you need the extra crecit.
