This may not be at the top of your priority list (after all, you've got till January 2006!), but those of you expecting to enter my 11th Grade AP Language course will need to read Ray Bradbury's The Martian Chronicles and The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck. I'll make sure a reminder gets around by the end of next semester, but for those of you avid readers who would like to get an early start, these are two wonderful and influential pieces of American literature. I hope to see all of you in the course, but keep in mind it is a difficult and challenging endeavor.
